Tangara fastuosa

"Tangara fastuosa" (2018) is a collaborative short film by Sarah Groff Hennigh-Palermo and myself. For their animations, Sarah used a framework that they created themselves using SVGs and CSS. Samples used in the soundtrack include a toy accordion, music box, and voices. Patterns and processes in the animations highly influenced the pacing of the music. This soundtrack was made with multiple technologies and programming languages including Max MSP, Ableton/Max for Live, and Sonic Pi. This is the first short film made together as part of subset of Codie, a code and art trio based in Brooklyn, NY.
