Live Coding Performance
A large part of my performance practice involves live coding music using technologies like Sonic Pi (mostly) and Max/MSP/Jitter (sometimes.) I perform often as a solo musician and collaboratively in Codie and with percussionist Caitlin Cawley in MYLAR. I have various styles of performing. Sometimes I perform music with minimal set-up, other times I have a robust sounds predetermined with loose forms, sometimes I sample my voice and manipulate it with code - and more. I also experiment with visuals and displaying the information and processes in other forms beyond just code.
